Ireland, a small island that offers great emotions
There are 5 main tourism destinations on the island of Ireland:
- Wild Atlantic Way
- Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands
The ‘hidden heart’ of Ireland which encompasses the most central part of the island. If there could be a place where Ireland is even greener, this is it: a territory dominated by unspoiled nature, criss-crossed by paths, cycle paths and a navigable water network. Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands are the perfect destination for slow travel.
- Ireland’s Ancient East
This part of Ireland spans 17 counties on the East Coast outside of Dublin, from County Cork in the South to County Monaghan in the North. It is an area rich in history with its medieval cities like Kilkenny and viking cities like Waterford, splendid archaeological and monastic sites such as Brú na Bóinne and Glendalough, and many historic houses.
- Dublino
Framed by mountains, crossed by the River Liffey and bordered by a beautiful bay, Dublin is full of historic and artistic buildings, trendy cafés and traditional pubs where you can listen to live music. In recent years the city has undergone a profound renewal to become one of the most fascinating cities in Europe that surprises the visitor with its mix of ancient and modern.
- Irlanda del Nord
From the Causeway Coastal Route, considered one of the most beautiful scenic coastal drives in the world, to the fascinating locations of Game of Thrones®, Northern Ireland is a continuous discovery, including the vibrant cities of Belfast and Derry~Londonderry.
